I was quite impressed by two that stand out – I once saw a kid in green tights with purple balloons stuck all over as grapes – and last year a kid trick or treating as jack the ripper which i found original

My sister in law went as "killing time". She put on a black leotard, cut out 2 round circles of poster board and made it look like a clock, affixed it to her torso (front and back), then attached a plastic axe to the middle of the clock face on front and back! Too funny!!! She won $1,000 for it! My husband went as a tampon one year. He put on all white, painted his face white, and put on a red wig. We even hung a green string from him. (obviously, not appro. for a kid…but funny!)

I was a shower one year. My dad made this harnass slash square enclouser out of PVC pipe. We put a shower curtain around it and a shower nozzel at the top, I wore a robe and a shower cap with a scrubbing brush with a long handle and won best costume at the youth group.
