The Proton pack has full working lights. All four cyclotron lights light up and they rotate in pattern like the movie. the energy cell lights up, the slow blo and energy gauge on the thrower light up as well. and are wired up to switches. The The ecto goggles also have an upper and lower built in light.
ok so heres the nuts and bolts of what you’re bidding on and what the winner of this auction will receive.
1. ecto goggles with functioning LED’s.
2. Nomex CWU-27/P Flight suit (this is not the cheap rothco alternative) which is very breathable and comfortable. with ghostbusters logo, name tag, and uniform yellow hose with leg attachment
3. Corcoran jumpboots. I bought these when I was stationed at Fort Bragg with the 82nd. they’re the real deal. labeled as 8 1/2’s but I’m between a 10- 10.5 now and can still fit my feet into them.
4. black chemical gloves- accurate and up past midarm
5. correctly dyed pistol belt. Comes with holster for ghost trap, 2 utilty pouches, hook/hanger for ecto goggles, clip for trap pedal.
6. 2 correctly dyed/airbrushed elbow pads. match screen used.
7. Ghost trap w. pedal. fully painted/ decaled/ finished. attaches securely to belt holster when not in use.
8. military issue elbow flashlight (D cell)
9. Neutrona wand or particle thrower – built off a Throwing Chicken Kit. main body is hollow and has room for you to add a sound board if you wanted to. otherwise it has my lighting kit in it. complete with all switches, lights, greeblies.
10. Proton pack is a vaccuformed shell to keep the weight down. wood motherboard, accurate ALICE pack rucksack frame (correctly padded) and OD Green straps. has full lights in both the energy cell and cyclotron.
11. you also get a collapsible stand for displaying/ holding your proton pack.

Ghostbusters Proton Pack and Trap. This set up is not only great for halloween but for the serious GB costumer. The proton pack weighs approx 12 lbs which is perfect for those long hours as opposed to 35 – 45 pounds. The pack is solid too. To complete the pack just add 6 number 10 allen head screws, the brass fittings and a few wires, bumper and shockmount and you’re ready to rock. Not seen in the pic but the resistors are included. The trap is almost complete needing 1 knob, plate and resistor and bits on the front. The cartridge is removable from the tray and the battery compartment in the back does open if you wish to install lights. I am including the lamp housing for the trap. There is also access in the back of the pack for lights and sounds. I am also including a MMM gunbox along with the clear tube and orange cap for the thrower along with the necessary decals for the thrower for completion. Normally the pack runs between 850.00 to almost 1500.00 depending on the vendor and the accuracy. The Trap normally runs bewteen 125.00 and 300.00 so this starting price is impossible to beat. If you’ve been looking for a set of nice Ghostbusters props but didn’t want to pay the very high prices….here’s your chance to knock a few hundred off the completion price. I have taken the cost of what is necessary to complete these props into consideration when listing this set and believe me….you are saving alot! You could always try Toy Kingdom or other toy stores for Harry Potter Merchandise. But I suggest you just improvise your own Harry costume. It’s cheaper and you could use it as a bonding moment with your brother! Make him wear a rented black graduation toga, a white polo (could even be the school uniform polo), a fancy tie (maroon and gold stripes for Gryffindor) black pants and shoes. And of course, don’t forget round glasses, scar, wand (a tree branch would do) and messy hair! 🙂

I was quite impressed by two that stand out – I once saw a kid in green tights with purple balloons stuck all over as grapes – and last year a kid trick or treating as jack the ripper which i found original
My sister in law went as "killing time". She put on a black leotard, cut out 2 round circles of poster board and made it look like a clock, affixed it to her torso (front and back), then attached a plastic axe to the middle of the clock face on front and back! Too funny!!! She won $1,000 for it! My husband went as a tampon one year. He put on all white, painted his face white, and put on a red wig. We even hung a green string from him. (obviously, not appro. for a kid…but funny!)
